Hair Shaping, Various Creative Color Techniques suiting the individual client. Now the latest in hair services: The Natural Kera-Green Hair Smoothing Treatment. We use Alterna Bamboo Hair care Products. A Enzyme based line that has amazing results on the hair! We also use the Kera-Green and the Coppola keratin straightening systems in a environmentally friendly environment.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I Love working with the public and consider myself a creative person. This is the outlet which has allowed me to work with people and listen to their ideas and creatively implement their ideas via Hair Shaping/Coloring.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a Neighborhood salon that has serviced the Elmhurst area for the past 20 years. We are constantly being educated on what is the trends in our industry. We love creatively expressing our art with the medium of hair and all the techniques it takes to do just that! You get the experience and creativity at an economical price in a friendly customer focused environment.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one salon and we've operated from it for about 20 years but in two different locations through time.

Hair Looms is on Spring Road in Elmhurst running North and South. It can be reached from Butterfield Road or St. Charles Road. We are 2 storefronts South of the Illinois Prairie path, on the West side of the street. We are in the same building as Yoga Shala but directly behind it where access to Hair Looms is on the South side of the building marked by a Green awning.

All hair Color and Foiling techniques and services. All Hair Shaping services for Women, Men and Children. All Up-do-s and Special Event styles too. We also do the No-Chip manicure, along with Manicures, Pedicures, and Sculptured Nail Services. We have just added Hair Extensions too. We use the natural line called "Dream Catchers". They are known for being permanent, reusable and non-damaging to your natural hair.
