Founded in 1970 by Alvin L. Wagner, Jr., A.L. Wagner Appraisal Group is now owned by his son, Alvin "Chip" Wagner III, SRA, SCRP. Chip is a third generation real estate appraiser who began his career at a very young age. Chip co-signed his first appraisal report before he had a drivers license in 1984. Chip worked for the family business throughout his high school and college years where he was trained by his father. Upon graduation from Bradley University with a Business major in 1990, Chip joined the firm full time. Chip has earned the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute as well as the SCRP designation from the Worldwide ERC (Employee Relocation Council).
