Since its inception, the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce has grown to be a powerhouse among area chambers, with 300 members representing 40 different towns. The Chamber provides real value to members, including multiple opportunities for networking and building relationships. Events sponsored by the Carol Stream Chamber are held at different venues and times of day, all geared to the busy lifestyles of small business owners. In fact, attendance has increased from approximately 25 to 40 participants to an average of 40 to 100 participants at the Chamber�s multiple events which include:
~ Monthly luncheons which feature topics that help small business owners grow their businesses as well as information that impacts community and business life.
~ Business After-Hours, a networking opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere
~ Women In Business (WIB), the Chamber's highly successful WIB events are filled with exceptional networking opportunities and provide attendees an opportunity to hear insightful, relevant speakers focused on women's issues and needs. (Men are always welcome at these events.)
~ Accelerated Networking - In a networking idea based on the 'speed dating' concept, business owners meet 40 or more other participants in rapid-fire succession, sharing a 30-second synopsis of their business. The networking session, which is part of one of the Chamber's monthly luncheons, leaves participants feeling invigorated and exhilarated--and with many new business contacts.
